Rare Disease Day 2014

“Join Together for Better Care” is the theme for this year’s Rare Disease Day in Malaysia. Three rare disease patient support groups, namely Malaysian Rare Disorders Society, Malaysia Lysosomal-Diseases Association and Malaysia Metabolic Society have joined together for the first time to organize the Rare Disease Day event in Malaysia

This follows from a successful 2nd Malaysia Conference on Rare Disorders organised by the coalition effort of the above said three societies in 2013. One of the recommendations from the conference is that the rare disease patient support groups speak with ONE voice

We are in the midst of planning the event which will most probably held in 22nd March 2014 in KL/PJ. Further updates on the event will be posted soon. We welcome other rare disease patient support groups in Malaysia to contact us at [email protected]
