First virtual meet-up with the Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) patient families in Sarawak.

MRDS continues to work closely with all stakeholders to advocate for and help set up support groups for rare diseases that have yet to establish their own peer support network. Thanks to the commitment and efforts of the Sarawak Heart Centre, more patients are now being diagnosed with ATTR-CM, a rare condition affecting adults. MRDS, working in collaboration with friends from healthcare, corporate and patient caregivers aim to provide a safe support space for families living with ATTR-CM to access information on the disease, connect with other families and receive information on help available.
